Editions of the techexplorer Hypermedia Browser


Please note that the Professional Edition of the Integre techexplorer Hypermedia Browser is now available for free download from the techexplorer web site, and that the Introductory Edition is no longer being offered as a separate edition of techexplorer.

This section describes the differences between these editions as they existed in previous versions of techexplorer, so as to provide context for references contained in the remainder of the documentation.

The two editions of the Integre techexplorer Hypermedia Browser are:


The Introductory Edition

The Introductory Edition is a viewer for a large subset of TeX, LaTeX, and AMS-LaTeX, as well as for MathML, the Mathematical Markup Language.

The particular features that techexplorer supports for each of these markup languages are described in the Compatibility section. The Creating documents section describes the basic document structure and the new features that techexplorer adds for electronic interactive publication of scientific and technical documents.
