Hi Paul,

Thank you for reporting this behavior regarding closing a subordinate window
in Internet Explorer.

When using the ActiveX control edition of techexplorer within Internet Explorer, an error message may appear when closing a second instance of the Internet Explorer window. This error message is the result of a Windows message being sent to the techexplorer window after Internet Explorer has already unloaded the ActiveX control.

This error message is a known issue with the use of techexplorer within Internet Explorer, and is being investigated.

Sam
