Paul,
The techexplorer documentation describes two ways to specify MathML markup
using the EMBED tag, one for including inline markup and one for referencing
an external file:
To include inline MathML markup within the embed tag:
<embed type="text/mathml" mmldata="<math> ... </math>" >
To include MathML markup from an external file:
<embed src="math.mml" ... >
Admittedly, the organization of the documentation doesn't make these easy to find:
