MathEX Equation Editor for Java

MathEX is a standalone Java application and a Java applet component for people who want to author and publish mathematical expressions using the W3C Mathematical Markup Language (MathML).

Both the application edition and the component edition of the editor support both content and presentation elements from MathML, allowing you to interact with the visual presentation of an expression, while simultaneously creating the underlying content structure of the expression. Both the presentation and the content can be exported to other components using a variety of means, allowing the editor to be incorporated into mathematical applications developed using a number of technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, and other Java applets.
